What Is ISMmagic?
ISMmagic stands for Integrated Social & Marketing Magic.
It is a social network for internet marketers with an associated matrix pay plan. Its tools and facilities are designed to make your internet marketing within the site fast and efficient, whilst providing a conducive environment to build relationships with other members. It may be used in 3 ways
- Affiliate Business
- Marketing Tool
- Social Site
Most members will use it as a combination of all three.

It is not and never will be a glorified PTC site.
Browser - Which Should I Use?
It is up to you which internet browser you use.
The site is tested using Chrome, Frirefox and Internet Explorer
We are not aware of any problems with regard to Chrome or Firefox
There are some issues with regard to IE9 with the Group facility
If you are using IE9 ansd wish to (>> Tools >> Compatability View)
- Add / Edit Group
- Add /Edit Group Bulletin
- Add / Edit Group Discussion
Switch compatability mode on.
When you have finished the above switch compatibilty mode off.
Sometimes IE9 can become unstable and will not let you log in. If this happens Reset IE9 back to its default settings. (This can be found in Tools >> Options >>Advanced)
E-Mails From ISMmagic - How Do I Switch Them On And Off?
Overview
You may receive a variety of emails from ISMmagic. Some members find these e-mails essential to manage their use of the site others consider them to be a nuisance. It is not our intention to spam members and so you may switch all or some of these emails on / off the choice is yours. When you first confirm your account these emails are switched on.
Notification E-mails
These emails will notify of actions on the system relating to activities associated with you including
- Friends requests sent to you
- Acceptance of your friends requests
- Posts on your profile wall
- Items relating to groups you belong to
To switch these items on /off
Select Social Wall + Login from the main menu
From the Social Site Menu (below the banners and adverts)
Hover over the Profile menu and select Privacy
On the bottom half of this page
Set both "Receive system emails" and "Receive wall comment notifications" to on / off as aplicable.
Upline / E-mails
These are e-mails from your upline members, these e-mails are sent via our server we do not give your email address to other members.
Upline members may send you e-mails with the following frequency
- White Wizards (only 4 of these) 1 e-mail per day
- Wizards 1 e-mail per week
- Genies 1 e-mail every 2 weeks
- Magicians cannot send these e-mails
To switch these items on /off
Select Social Wall + Login from the main menu
From the Social Site Menu (below the banners and adverts)
Hover over the Profile menu and select Privacy
On the bottom half of this page
Set "Receive Upline emails" to on / off as aplicable.
Please note that if you are a "White Wizard, Wizard or Genie" and you set this to No then you will not be able to send emails to your downline.
Upline e-mails received include an unsubscribe option, which will set the "Receive Upline emails" to No if selected.
Group E-mails
The creator / owner of group may send group e-mails to the members as follows
- White Wizards (only 4 of these) 1 e-mail per day
- Wizards 1 e-mail per week
- Genies, Pixies & Magicians cannot send these e-mails
Group e-mails must be within the scope of the purpose of thegroup. If you an group e-mails on topics unrelated to teh purpose of the group you may click on a link to report them as spam.
There is no unsubscribe option on group e-mails, to stop receiving emails from a specific group you need to leave the group.
Forum Notifications
Whenever you ask or answer a question in Magic School, it adds subscribes you to email notifications relating to that quetsion.
At the end of each category there is an "subscribe / unsuscribe" option for e-mail notifications for that category.
At the end of each question there is an "subscribe / unsuscribe" option for e-mail notifications for that question.
BLOG Notifications
When you add or comment on a BLOG it wil automatically subscribe you to e-mail notifications for that BLOG. There is an unsubscribe option for each BLOG.
Groups & IE9 How Do I Make Them Work?
Those using IE9 may experience a problem adding / editing Groups. When you get a message saying "Group description cannot be left empty" even though it is not and when editing it does not update.
Your first option is not to use IE9 we recommend using Firefox or Chrome when viewing this site
Your second is that when adding groups, group discussions or group bulletins is to switch IE9 into "compatibility view" This can be found under the IE9 Tools menu option. Switch of once you have finished adding your group, group discussion or group bulletin.
Your thrid option is to use the following "Work Round".
Having input your group name and description, or edited the description do NOT click on the Create / Save button.
Select Show Advanced Option" above the Create / Save Button
Click on the Create / Save button at the bottom of the Advanced Options Page
There is a further problem with adding Bulletins and Discussions when using IE9. If you find Adding a Bulletin does not work then use the following Work Round
The Work Round for adding a Bulletin is
Input title and text for the Bulletin.
Click Add Bulletin button
Click cancel button
Clcik Add Bulletin button
At this stage we have no Work Round fro Adding Discussions
